WHAT WE DO

Green Force is actively involved in work improving the environment and benefiting the local community including the upkeep of establishment grounds, public open spaces, woodland, parkland, nature reserves and housing estates. We work mainly in and around the Barnstaple area of North Devon but are involved in a project as far afield as Tiverton. If you have a project, large or small, contact us to see if we can help.

OUR AIMS

While improving our local environment for the good of the community we aim to promote the social inclusion of our members who are adults with learning disabilities. We do this at Green Force by providing fairly paid supported work experience together with wider involvement in company activity.

We currently support 8 such part time work opportunities.

GREEN FORCE is also keen and happy to PARTNER OR SUPPORT any projects with similar aims like the TOWN PROJECT IN TIVERTON. Here for 3 mornings a week our group leader directs and works alongside a total of 7 adults with learning disabilities who are employed by the Town Council to help tidy up the town centre and surrounds.

CONTINUING THANKS to all our customers, including Devon County Council, North Devon District Council (Parks and Amenities), Tiverton Town Council, The Children’s Centre Barnstaple and The Environment Agency.

Thanks to the Barnstaple and Bideford Bridge Trusts for the valued grant support and Devon Community Foundation for the help towards running costs over the past 3 years.
